Sunrise

When Cliffie and I went down to the barn to help David feed this morning,
we saw a beautiful sunrise.
but when we looked towards Pike's Peak,
we saw storm clouds.
When the clouds cleared, we saw
snow!

WOW! What a sunrise! I dunno about you, but I'm very glad the snowline is still so high up. It's pretty, but I'd like some fall weather before winter, thanks!

Amazing! And beautiful...I had forgotten you live within sight of Pike's Peak. We visited there on a cross-country drive when I was 6 years old. All I remember is being scared on the drive up, b/c there were no guard rails on the road, and of being very surprised at how cold it was up there on a summer day!

Hi Terry, just stopping by to answer your question about five-spice powder. It's something you buy, though if your grocery store doesn't have a great spice selection, you may have to hit a specialty or Asian store. I'd forgotten that was in there! If you do buy it, it's useful for all kinds of things: casseroles, chicken, and of course lots of Asian dishes. Let me know how it goes!
