Hoar frost is so pretty, sparkling in the sunlight! I know it's very cold - that cold is heading this way, along with snow, I just hope it doesn't get that cold though. BRRRR!
Thank you all. You know I want to improve my photography, so I've decided to read my camera's manual at long last! Tee-hee, should have done that long ago.
Flartus, we were in the low 30s by afternoon, so the boys were fine. They get extra goodies on cold days, so I don't think they mind it too much.
Louise, the hoarfrost stayed around 'till about noon. David said the front pasture looked like it was covered with diamonds. Very pretty.

What gorgeous pictures!! But, Brrrrr! We're having a very cold winter in Michigan too, I believe it's getting into the negatives this weekend :( :(
I hope you get a warm spell soon!!
Very pretty - that's about where we are today, with much colder weather coming overnight.
beautiful, but I'm glad I'm seeing it through photos, not first-hand :)

Wow! That hoarfrost looks like it's shrieking "cooooold!!!" How are the boys doing?

Pretty in pictures but brrrrrrrrrrrrrr in real life! Um please do not feel the need to share that with us okay :O)...
Brrrrrr, those horefrost crystals look like they'd freeze your hand if you touched them. How long did it take before they all melted?
And you said you don't take pretty pictures... those are gorgeous!! I don't know if I've ever seen frost like that in person (thank goodness).
Stay warm!
WOW! Terry, these are beautiful. May be cold but look at that natural beauty! Nice job.
