It's cold again, folks. It's rained for 3 days, and it's 39 degrees this morning. Needless to say, the horses are all in their blankets. Being as it's the middle of June, I had washed and stored those blankets! Yesterday was an indoor kind of day. Bob and Gossamer came and visited us and their horse Boomer.

Jan's horse Elvis had an indoor ride. His canter is lookin' good. He just turned 5.
At this rate, we really will have two seasons, just like the old joke - Winter and 4th of July.

Oh, is that a Borzoi? Beautiful dog! Elvis looks super. It will be exciting to see just what this youngster will be able to do as he gets older and stronger.
Yes, you got it right, Louise. Gossy is a Borzoi. We joke about her having a boyfriend from the wrong side of the tracks; our dog Clifford is a rescue of no particular breeding, and he's the best dog in the world.
39 degrees?! Brr! We're having heat strokes here in North Carolina!
