That Time of the Year

It's that special time of the year.  It's the time of beautiful sunsets, and days that are still warm enough to enjoy them.

Paj couldn't quite believe I was taking pictures of something other than his pretty self, so of course I had to include him.  The sunset photos are SOOC (Straight Out Of the Camera).  Paj was partially in shadow, so I tweaked that one.

Beautiful sunset photos and the photo of the horse with the nice horse blanket looks like he is posing!

As you know, I am loving our sunsets. The sky just comes alive. Of course, it helps that the weather has been so darn nice!

I'm not sure where in Colorado you are exactly but those shots look identical to the clouds I gaped at on our way to the Denver airport last night.

W-O-W! We have some pretty amazing sunsets here but yours take the cake! Gorgeous!

And I'm so happy to hear that Boomer is on the mend and hasn't managed to pass his cold on to anyone else. What a relief!

We were an hour south of Denver in Castle Rock. If I had known we were that close, we would have come by to Jett you and the horses! Next time...

Hi Terry! My favorite picture is, of course, of Paj :) He looks quite handsome in his little outfit!

Mr smrp was just back at DVR picking up the last of our things and he was happy to enjoy the gorgeous sunny weather!

Sending lots of scritches and carrots to all (especially to my little pirate man Mickey!)

Hi Terry. So are you guys in or near Elizabeth, Co.? As you know, Annette and I were in Castle Rock and if we would have known, we would have definitely come by. We had time to kill but no place in particular to go. We love Colorado and will be back soon. Our email address is "aspenmeadowsa@gmail.com". If you want to screen this post so your location doesn't show up, that's fine with us. Keep in touch. That's Annette's email, she's far better than I am at email. Brett

Hi Terry!
I am quite certain we did see the same sunset, especially since we're practically neighbors! I live in southeast Aurora on the Douglas County line. Your pictures of the sunset are beautiful and so are your horses. Ron and Jim are friends of mine. Ron and I were in grade eight together many years ago, and Jim is a relatively new friend. As is Sophie...^5. I figured I'd follow your blog since three friends were pointing me your way!
