Here's today's x-ray -
Boomer seems completely better. I hand-walked him down the lane just over a mile this morning, and he was almost on the verge of being fresh. Dr. Gary said we could start to put a bit more work on him "as tolerated". Hmmm. Isn't that what the doctor said about me?
I want thank my fellow bloggers. I was very nervous before the trip to the doctor, and I spent the morning looking through my favorite blogs. It calmed me down. I love the beautiful photographs everyone takes, and I thank you all for sharing your life.
And a huge thank you to Jan, who fed the horses for us while we were away. We also visited her twice today. What can I say, I was nervous. Here's Jan's cat Neville, who's been seeing too many doctors himself lately.

So glad things are looking up - that x-ray would scare me! Glad Boomer seems to be doing well too.
The no surgery thing is very, very good news. PT can be a pain in the neck, and it probably will hurt, but just keep holding on to the fact that it will help heal you.
Wow, that x-ray! It looks so painful! I'm glad you're doing better, though, and you can have a bit more freedom.
Glad to hear about Boomer too!!
Pat and I are so glad that you and Boomer are healing up so well! Thanks for the warning, but I looked. Oh yuck.

Good morning Terry. It sounds like you and Boomer are on the same path... must feel good to be able to do something.
We are the roof poor! It is hard to keep all of them in shape but it is the only way to save a barn. We have two that are over 100 years old, the indoor, the Workshop and the house. It never ends.
I just learned the hard way that metal roofs are better than shingles that don't last as long as they are supposed to.
Thanks for your visits and sweet comments. Hope you keep improving quickly.
terry =as a nurse i KNOW just HOW PAINFUL a fractured clavicle can be... awful!!!!!
are you getting enough painkillers>????
do you need anyone to come round and help u on with your bits?
I really need to catch up on your blog! That x-ray looks downright painful to me. Glad to hear you are healing. Now I have to read about Boomer and what happened.
Now, you take it easy and don't over do it!!! Promise?
As tolerated - good news for both of you!! And no surgery hopefully as it will just heal up great.
