It's Here!

The hand-painted saddle pad that Kate at The Adventures of Lucy gave away in her haiku contest came today!  I felt like a little kid waiting for Santa.  Look how well the design sits with my dressage saddle.  Well done, Kate.  Thank you ever so much.

Our footing is frozen and/or muddy, so I had no business riding today, but I just couldn't resist hopping on Paj for a little walk.  David snapped these photos for me.

Wonderful! Shame on you for risking yourselves in bad footing--but I'm glad you did, lol! I don't remember the last time you mentioned riding Paj. Good to see him saddled up and posing. (And good to see you in the saddle, too!)

You two look really good together-the look on Paj`s face says it all- nothing like humoring a human !

The saddle pad is beautiful. It looks great on Paj - you both look great, too.
I was tempted to ride... went shopping instead! Didn't buy anything noteworthy, though!

I got goosebumps seeing the photos of your horses, they look like great athletes. I especially like draft horses like your Clydesdale.
