It's really not that bad. The boys are safe in their stalls, listening to jazz on the radio and munching hay. We are feeding them throughout the day for warmth and entertainment. The sun will come out tomorrow.
Our boys are doing the same thing... although they keep telling me they want more! Glad you guys are warm. I bet you'll have some pictures (hint!) It was very blizzard-like here last evening. We had snow while they were still saying there was nothing in Denver! Turns out, our area is the very north-eastern part of the Palmer Divide. Who woulda thunk!
Glad your crew is safe and happy. Same here; we're tucked in, nibbling on hay (horses are...I'm nibbling on leftover Halloween candy). I opted to work from home rather than risk the icy commute. The girls were served warm beet pulp soup for breakfast and are opting to stay close to the barn, or in the barn, or under the porch. Still blowing snow out there. I wished I had worn snow goggle when I walked to the barn this morning. Stay warm.
Amazing a blizzard already? I am just back from a wonderful fall color look at the Ozark Mountains in AR...Mrs Laughing Duck Blog and I went! :O)... was fantastic!
I love to play either jazz or classical for the horses! Neat...bet your stable is very cozy and they are happily munching at the blizzard warning! Snow seems to be very early for most this time of year...maybe that means SPRING will happen early too!! We may hope! Xo KK

Hope the sun is now out and the boys are enjoying a good romp in the snow.
Did you get lots of snow? :)
Just so long as you are safe, and nestled down...
How I remember those Colorado snow storms and the occasional blizzard !
Take good care.
