Haiku Hijinks

My horsey haiku won!  I won a beautiful hand-painted saddle pad from Kate at The Adventures of Lucy.  I'm really pleased, not just because I covet the saddle pad, but also because language doesn't come easily to me.  My family moved a lot when I was growing up, and sometimes it seems that in changing schools, somehow I missed some basic rules of English.  I'm self-conscious about my spelling, grammar and punctuation.  My brother Tom feels that changing schools messed up his math skills, and he taught me this handy rational.  Thanks, Tom!  And thank you so much, Kate.
