Perhaps I got carried away by the warm weather -
It was a wild night last night with winds recorded at 75 mph. It let up this morning, and I was able to get the horses out for a half day of liberty. Then the temperature plummeted, and the snow started. The boys are pouting in their stalls. Snow should stop around midnight, and tomorrow is expected to be back in the high 40s. It's just a little Spring storm. I'll be back in those flip-flops in no time!

Glad it was just a glitch and will turn around tomorrow! I guess our glitch starts tomorrow and will be over along, about Wednesday. It's nice to know it won't last, isn't it?
Glad nobody blew away! We were "only" in the 50 mph range up here in the mountains and I was certain I was going to have to Velcro a few of the herd down to keep them safe!
I guess the good part about spring storms is that they keep the fire danger at bay...but boy amd I ready for some warm weather and flip flops :)
What the heck! It was over 50 and sunny here! 75MPH winds can be very scary. Flip flops and snow...go figure!
Such crazy weather. Well, you know what they say about Colorado weather: If you don't like it, wait 5 minutes!
Our winds were high... but not that bad. I did have different nightmares about things blowing over in the wind, though!
LOL! How exciting! Love the photograph...xxxxxxxx
U daft bugger ! bet your toes turned blue !thanks for the giggle xxxxx
Crazy...Mother Nature will have her way, we just have to wait it out sometimes. 75 mph would have scared me!
LOL, I feel for ya!
That cracked me up.
Around here we call that 'spring snow' the farmers' fertilizer.
