1st Physical Therapy Session

It wasn't that bad.  I have been through physical therapy before, so I was expecting the worst.  Before, the sessions seemed like torture, with me seeing stars and on the brink of passing out.  This was nothing like that.  The therapist manipulated my shoulder and my fingers, and yes, there were moments of pain, but nothing sustained, and nothing I couldn't easily handle.  She took me through range of motion (ROM) exercises, and the joint felt warm and stretched when we were done.  And yes, I'm sore now, but not bad.  It was so worth it.  I definitely have more mobility in the shoulder joint and in my fingers, so I am very encouraged.  Yay!

Congrats on getting through the first round. Maybe going back won't be so bad now that you know it's not torture? :)

Phew, I bet it's a relief to have that first one over. Glad it hurt less than you were afraid it would.

I've never had physical therapy before, but I've heard awful things about it! I'm so glad it was better than you expected. :)

Excellent Terry!
I am going for some therapy of my own...right now...gotta get into the truck as I type. No fractured anything for me...you poor thing.
I am very gald that you had a better experience of the therapy. Sometimes they can be good -with- not feeling so bad!
Hang in...you made me think of the Princess Bride...with your finger thing...

I don't know what happened to yours, but I broke my shoulder and arm and developed arthitis in my hand as a result, go figure that one. My PT is coming along great, but is very painful. I'm so glad yours isn't and I hope you will get a lot of benefits from it.--Inger

Thankfully I've never had to do physical therapy but because I did medical transcription for 35 plus years I typed a lot on physical therapy as most of my accounts were orthopedists. Glad to hear you enjoyed some benefit from it.
