I spent the days leading up to the move making sure Ben felt comfortable
loading himself onto our trailer,
standing quietly
and backing off slowly, one step at a time.
Boomer, the world traveler, didn't need any reminders.
But Ben is sensitive, and he worries.
Yesterday was move day.
After one last turnout,
Boomer, Dave, Ben
it was time to say goodbye.
How we'll miss this face -
Ben
and this one.
Boomer

Oh girly (hugs) I know this has to be so very hard for you guys and its going to be hard for Ben and Boomer too. They are used to you guys and have spent so much time with you. It will be a big adjustment for everyone.
I love how you made their transition as pleasant for them as possible. It's always hard to say goodbye to friends.
Ah, you won't be the only ones missing those sweet boys. I have a feeling their stalls won't be empty long. Something interesting always seems to come your way.
I don't like saying goodbye to horses who have lived here either. The good news! They will be going to a place that you know and can stay in touch. By the way, that header shot is gorgeous!!!! Good job with the loading. That's quite a load when both of them are on the trailer. They sure are beautiful boys!!!!
Safe travels and lots of luck to them both. I will miss them. <3
As an aside, the banner photo on your blog is GORGEOUS.
Such beautiful gentle giants. So sorry they're going!
Goodbye to Boomer and Ben. Thank goodness they're going to a good, loving home though :)
Sorry, Terry. I know that has to be really hard after having them at your place for so long.
Swift journeys to them and hugs to you.
Awww, how sad for you guys. At least you know they are going to a wonderful new home.
I'm sorry you had to say farewell to those big guys! I think we'll all miss them :) HUGS!
