Snow!

We didn't get quite as much snow as it looks like.  I was standing down hill when I took this photo.  The weather service says we got 6.3".  With our rolling terrain and high winds, we have some bare spots, some deep drifts, and everything in between.

The Clydes waited patiently for turnout.

Others, not so much.
At age 20, Reggie is still
The Bad Boy.

Buck!

Bite!

It's not as bad as it looks.
Reggie really loves Paj, and he always pulls his punches.

All of the horses have been turned out, and peace reigns.

We have a warm up tomorrow, and more snow Sunday.
David hitched the plow before the storm,
and it's going to stay hitched awhile longer!

The last photo was taken with my new camera.    I'm starting to get the hang of it, and it takes better photos, but I don't want to take it out in the snow just yet.

You have such beautiful horses, Terry! I'd probably be scared of Reggie! Does he like treats like apples or carrots? I was looking again at your kitty, Callie! So sweet! We got about 6" of snow here, but I'll be very happy to see some more. Have a happy, warm weekend!

Thanks, Fundy. Reggie is a firecracker! They all like carrots and apples and peppermints and sugar cubes and and and.
Callie left a pretty big hole here, but her buddy Niles is getting her pets, so he's happy.

Snowy pictures always look so pretty. I especially like the second one.
You can definitely tell the difference between the pics. The new camera takes great photos.

Lori, I'm sending you an email on the camera.

Ruffles, can you send a little NZ warmth to me, please?

Sophie, you would be most welcome! And your Dads! You could visit Fundy too!

Your horses are so powerful. Our snow is gone now, it never lasts long. No more in sight here, I hope yours won't be too bad.
