Wicked Weather - Part ?

When Bob and Diana took Boomer for a drive today,
I couldn't help but notice the cloud behind them.  Hmmm.

As I walked up to the house, I spied this cloud too -
Hmmm.  That looks like trouble.

Here we are, a few hours later.

We are about to get hammered.

Wow. You sure can see them coming a long ways off. I hope you and yours are OK!

Holy Moly! Look at those grey clouds! Magnificent Terry! I love how surrounding colours just pop with the grey background. Those last two photos are really good.
So did you survive? Get lots of wind and rain!!? So much for your Veronica!

Allison, living on the prairie, you learn to pay attention to the sky!

So far so good.

Jim, we've just had wind and a tiny bit of rain! I think it's moving off, but I'm keeping an eye on it...

Gorgeous sky photos... the weather aspect of it aside.

I hope you will tell us how this turned out..........
The photos are beautiful.

Thanks, Dom. Storms have a beauty.

Lori, this cell went right on over us with very little impact, but in a town farther east, it tore the roof off a house.

Great shots! I agree with Jim - the dark filtered light really changes the colors of everything else. We had quite a storm, too. Strong gusts and maybe .25 inches of rain - hooray! Of course, I spent more than an hour watering trees and gardens this morning!
Glad you didn't get bad hail - it was forecast, but we didn't see any, either.

Dreaming, we only got a few drops of rain. It seems like just a week ago we were worried the pastures were too lush, and now they're like dust.

Oh wow I cant believe the intial photos turned into what it did. That last sky looked quite sinister. I hope it didn't come to anything too bad.

At least you can see a storm coming in! One of my favorite things to do whenI am out your way is to just sit and watch the weather coming!

That storm blew in fast yesterday. I was trail riding when we saw the ominous dark clouds moving in from the west. The wind began to pick up. That was our cue to head back to our trailers. You caught beautiful pictures of the oncoming storm. I got home and unhitched the truck and put it in the garage in case of hail. We were hoping for a pretty good rain, but didn't get much.

Boomer is so gorgeous!! We don't see many horses like him around my area so I love seeing pictures of him on your blog :)
Hope you guys stay safe and warm, those clouds don't look very nice.

It's amazing how the clouds look out there. They're different how they just come on in like that! I hope you didn't get hammered too hard!!
