My Summer To-Do List

Now until snow - weed
June - finish painting hay shed
July - paint runs again
August - power wash barn interior and treat wood
September - hunker down for winter

Just looking at the list
I'm feeling uninspired
If I cease and desist
Maybe I'll get fired

Funny, I just opened the punch list this morning that I created on the computer months ago. I hate to admit that only a few of the items could be X'd off.
I think I could use your list with a bit of revision:
June: weed and water
July: water and weed
August: weed and water

We haven't finished painting the house... so I could add that as well, but I think we are giving in to our apathy and hiring a crew to finish the job!

Could you fire me too while you're at it? ;) Coveting that tractor btw...

I tried getting fired, but Elaine keeps rehiring me! That is not a really long "Honey-do" list. 5 gallons of paint on a quarter stick of TNT will paint a barn real quick! Use latex and make sure the doors are open so you don't have a roof raising work party. Oh, yeah, take the live stock out, or be prepared to do a second coat (for the other side) ;-}

What is this "power wash barn" of which you speak? Doesn't barn cleaning consist of sweeping down the spiderwebs? You mean, there's more than that??!!!! Stevie@ruffedfeathersandspilledmilk.com

Everything here needs to be painted, but that's not happening. It looks to be a very, very hot summer, so maybe nothing much will get done around here. I hope you will enjoy your work or at least the results.

It's good to have many things to do, principally if they are at your farm!
Love you new header.

Sounds good to have a Kindle too.

Have a wonderful Sunday.
