Slog

I'm going to try to keep track of our snowfall this year, so I've added a gadget to my sidebar.  I'm calling it my Slog (snow log) gadget.  Why now?  Why, because we've had a dusting yesterday and today.

Peony

It's nasty out there today.  The high was right around freezing.  It's been spitting hard little snow pellets all day, and the wind cuts right through you.

Frozen sage

We're headed to the 50s tomorrow and the 60s Monday.  Yay.

Um...wow. We're just settling into fall here. What a great big beautiful country we share!

Oh my!! Good idea to keep track, Terry! That way you will be too busy to even notice and maybe care? Right!

Well! Cyndi from "Living a Dream" visited Skoog Farm with her husband today...and she said it was snowing when they drove to the airport in Colorado. I'm not quite ready for that yet.

Goodness, that makes me feel cold :)
It also makes me glad that we are coming into spring here!

I might just steal that idea. If it will be like last winter, I will have next to no entries, but I really hope for some snow this year. At least it has cooled down in the last couple of days and next week they say it will be in the 30s at night and 60s during the day with some rain. Oh, I so wish.

Gee whizzzz ....I cant beleive you have snow already. Is that normal for this time of year. We had 10cm of fresh snow on our local mountain with really unpredictable winds and rain showers. It makes it hard to do much with the horses. I will be interested to see how your snow measuring goes

It was in the 80's on Saturday and it will be in the 40's in the morning.
Do you ever make a snowman when you get a lot of snow?
