Home, Home on the Range

Home, home on the range
where the deer and the antelope play
where seldom is heard a discouraging word
and the skies are not cloudy all day

David and I saw this herd of antelope
on range land just north of our ranch.

The buck quickly placed himself between us and his herd.

What a smart and handsome guy.
We left before he felt the need to move the herd.

They look like they belong in Africa - so exotic. Beautiful!

What great photos!
And just wondering, do you ever sing that song to yourself when you are on your horses? I would, and with great joy and pleasure!

They are beautiful. You would only see those in a natural history museum or a zoo around here!
