It helps that friend Jan is home at last. She sent me this photo of her nurse Tucker. Or is it Timmy? They look a lot alike. Please don't tell Tucker or Timmy I said that. I can tell them apart in person.
We are moving Elvis and Lakota home to Jan's on Friday. They are currently at the show barn. Zan, who's here on our ranch, will go home to Jan at the end of the month. Nothing could be better for Jan than seeing her horses frolic in her pastures. Her neighbor Barb will be doing horse care. I hope her Barb is as wonderful as Lori Skoog's Barb.

It takes time to heal...and everyone heals at their own rate. Just remember contact is very important even if it's only to say HI to all your blogger friends....we all understand the loss of a loved one!!!!!
So sorry to hear about Clifford - it's so tough to lose someone we love, and I see from reading back a bit that Clifford was perhaps even more special to you because of his tie to your mom. I hope they are together somewhere, looking down on you and watching over you. Your horses are beautiful, by the way. I grew up riding and taking English riding lessons. Got my own lovely Tbred cross mare when I was in seventh grade, but my parents couldn't afford to send us both to college, so we had to sell her. I've not had a horse of my own since, and there's really nowhere to keep one around here, but I keep dreaming about it.
Hello and welcome back ! been thinking of you xx
*hugs* Good to hear from you. I can't imagine such a loss :( Glad you have Jan to keep you company.
Oh, so sorry you're down. You do have good reason to be low...and I'm sure being the tail-end of winter isn't helping!
Go out and give Paj & Boomer a big hug for me. And maybe a treat, too.
:( I'm sorry about Clifford; I think we can all understand how awful and incredibly painful losing a sweet loved one/pet is. I hope that with every day you're feeling a bit better!
Hi Terry, I see you are getting back into the swing of things. I understand your loss, it's like losing your child and parent in one fell swoop. So, soon as you can get the crane to completely pull the cannonball out of your stomach, you will heal, but you will never forget. Those sweet memories are so dear.
It's great that Jan is home, and looks like she is getting wonderful care! :-)
Terry...with any luck, spring will show up and brighten your days. Loosing a good friend like Clifford can be very painful, but you are going to get through this. Glad that your friend Jan is home now. She must have been very ill to be out of commission for such a long time. Hopefully, you will be sharing your thoughts with us again through your blog.
Losing a member of the family requires lots of healing time. We all know and understand how you feel. Take your time, let the wound close a little, and the good memories start pouring back in. We're not going anyplace.
I hope your hearts are healing... Clifford was a very lucky boy. Hugs to you all.

Oh Terry! So good to hear from you. Take your time with us.....we fully understand. Spring is coming and usually reminds us all of new life ahead and lives from the past. Clifford may be gone but certainly not forgotten and very much a part of your lives forever.
