No News isn't always Good News

Yep, we're still at Chuck's.
Yesterday was a beautiful day.  It was also Sunday.  The roofers called to see if we had snow - we didn't.  They called back about half an hour later and said they weren't coming.  There was a small meltdown on my part.  Today it's snowing.

I had a nice blog surprise today.  I had a comment on my "Elizabeth" post from a local horse person!  Dream Valley Ranch has 5 rescued dogs and 8 rescued horses.  They live at 8,400'!  Brrrr.

Well...at least the horses look nice and cozy in their blankets.

Well! They should have come Sunday! How long are you going to have to wait?

I am so sorry they didn't come. So aggravating. The horse looks wonderful and snug as a bug in a rug with his blanket:)

Your horse looks a bit homesick, I think. Hope those guys will come soon and finish the roof. It's so annoying and people like that give contractors a bad name.

They called hoping you were going to say, "why yes, we got snow"... then they decided to be slackers anyway!

Chuck's place looks really nice, though. So at least they're cozy and warm while they wait. :)

How disappointing and frustrating for you. And look at that snow. Just a matter of time for us in Nova Scotia....but I can wait.

I think I would have had a little more than a small melt down at this point! But your horses DO look pretty darned cute and comfy at Chuck's!

It's so fun to meet a "local" blogging friend...Kisses to the ponies from all of us here!
