Horsehead Nebula
My brother Joe is an amazing astronomy photographer. Joe writes "Here's a view I took early this morning -- while meanwhile shivering in
27 degrees out in the western Utah desert. (I couldn't run the heater
because it puts out radio noise that would have ruined the many
exposures.)"
Here's a look at the equipment it took to capture the image of the Headless Horseman's Ghost Horse.
The Headless Horseman rides again!
Happy Halloween!

I knew exactly what it was before I opened up your post, the beautiful Horsehead Nebula! Your brother Joe is an amazing astronomy photographer for sure. What a gorgeous photo! Have a good one, Terry!
Amazing is an overused word that fits this picture perfectly. That word should be saved for pictures like this.
Simply incredible, Terry! WOW!
That is an incredible photo.
Worth freezing in 27 degrees even! You can always drink some hot coffee!!
That is absolutely STUNNING and what a camera!
