I "spoke" too soon. On Tuesday I wrote "The horses are enjoying perfect horsey days; warmer weather, greener grass and no flies". Today we woke to 28 degrees and this -
Oh, Terry, I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes because I am so glad to see you here again and that you are OK. I have been worried. I read your post below too and it is so great to she your magnificent horses again. I have missed them too.
I woke up to 28 degrees too and they say snow is expected to 4,500 feet on Saturday. We didn't get much this winter, so I wouldn't mind.
Soldier died last August. Thank you again for helping us make him well. He died of bloat, just like Angel did. It had nothing to do with food for either of them. The vet said old age, it happens. I miss him so much but Samson is turning out to be a wonderful dog. Take care.
Ah, yes...I remember bizarre snowfalls in June in NE Ohio. On the other hand, down here we have been dealing with gnats, ants and mosquitoes already. Just think, that snowfall will irrigate the beautiful wildflowers you'll be showing us in another month or two!
Oh my gosh! Well, then you have those spectacular mountain views :).
You're in Colorado?
I visited CO for the first time this year *Vail* and now we're thinking of moving that way! My husband is in love with snow sports and so he's just determined. I on the other hand, will miss my lakes in Michigan!
What a gorgeous view! I love the mountains! And I love horses! So I will be spending some time today browsing your posts for a taste of both. We had snow in the last few days as well. Still waiting for spring. But the "no flies" part is perfect! Have a great week ahead!
Hi Terry, Thanks for trying to view my blog. Please let me know if you are still having trouble opening it. Oh dear, what good is a blog with only a header. It needs a body to go with the head! :o)

We too had a surprise late this year. Very late freeze which sent a lot of gardeners here scrambling including me.
I see you have a loom! You are much further along in use of yours than I am! How fun!
I am also with you, I took a very long blogging break not really intended to be so long. But managed a post today! :O)

Hi Chickadeegirl,
Thanks for stopping by! I tried to visit your blog, but I can't get more than the header to show up. I'll try again later.
