Missing Out

The weather has been glorious.  I've had a nasty bug, so I've been missing out on enjoying our unseasonably warm weather.  David has been doing my chores, and he's also been enjoying the Clydes.  He's been riding Big Ben and trail riding and driving Boomer.  We had a special treat this weekend when Bob's 93 year old mother came out for a drive.  I missed out on that too.

David

Big Ben
(time for a mane trim, I'm thinking!)

Jean, Diana and Bob

Jean's father and David's father both delivered milk by horse-drawn vehicles.

I've been missing out on blogs too.  I plan to start checking in on everybody this evening.  I've got a lot of catching up to do!  Hope all is well, and nobody has a nasty bug!

Actually Terry, we have made an appointment for our flu shots for next week!

Geez, remember those days when milk was delivered to your house? I don't remember the horse-drawn ones but do the others.
Good to see the weather has been nice there....as can be seen in the photos.

Good to have you back...now don't overdo it.

I hope you feel better soon! I feel fine, but I'm envious of Dave, too. :)

Sorry you are under the weather. Gary and I have been too. I am so tired of coughing! David has been very busy and the weather looks divine.

WOW! I would love to ride a Clydie like that one day.
Sorry to hear you are unwell. Hopefully you are back to feeling 100% soon.

Happy you are on the mend. Had my flu jab last week but it has made me quite ill sadly. Hope you are up and about at 100% soon.

Awww, I'm so sorry you haven't been able to enjoy our beautiful weather. I hope you feel better soon! Maybe David ought to continue to do your chores over the weekend. With the nasty rain and snow that is predicted, it could encourage a relapse!

Loved the pictures of the big guy!

I'm sorry to hear you have not been feeling well and hope the worst is over by now. David looks really great on his big, big horse.

Nasty bugs are popping up everywhere...we had it a month or so ago...not fun...now we are getting ready for our annual flu shots...only thing last year we became very nauseated...so we may re-consider...take care.
When I was a kid we used to have a horse drawn milk delivery...still can hear the sound of the bells and hoofs.
