We had a few twigs off an ash tree
and a side of the little arena rail blew over.
Paj helped me inspect it.
"Hey human, guess we can't work anymore.
Oh toooo bad!"
No such luck, Paj.
David put it back up in short order.
We were very lucky. Even the birds were lucky. We have two nests out back. The empty nest blew down, and the one with hatchlings stayed put. They are fine.

The weather continues to baffle me.
3 days of winds must be scary...I thought hurricanes were bad enough...so much is going on with our weather now...sorta dread in years to come!
That's a lot of wind. I'm amazed that you didn't have more damage.
With wind gusts like that, I'm glad you didn't have any major damage! I can't imagine 3 days of it!
Sorry about your fence, but great that the little birds survived. We had that wind for several days too, with hail and rain. It's nice and warm today, finally.
I bet that wind blows out and up there! All that open space and not too much to slow it down except fences and twigs. Good that you were spared too much damage.
Good thing the wind left your arena footing untouched. I think a lot of dirt from our dry lot ended up in Kansas.
Wow! It's interesting to see how the wind affects each of us. My 4 trays of seedlings, in my little portable greenhouse, are now in north Denver somewhere :((
I'm hearing 'threats' that the wind will return. NOOOOO!!! Go away!
Wind can be so frustrating. Especially when trying to do horsey chores. It seems to make all the horses hype up a bit.
I'm glad you guys didn't get too much damage.
I am glad, Terry, that there was no real damage!
Wishing you a good week ahead.
